Malbec Harvest Success

We were delighted with how our Malbec harvest turned out! A beautiful Akaroa morning gave way to a perfect, warm afternoon – ideal conditions for picking these exceptional grapes. This harvest is extra exciting because it marks a milestone for Caldera Vineyard Estate.

Our Malbec grapes will form the foundation of our very first rosé wine. We're planning to release this exciting new addition later this year, just in time for the grand opening of our estate. We're carefully crafting a rosé that embodies the fresh, vibrant spirit of Akaroa – the perfect wine for enjoying warm summer days.

This special Malbec harvest brings us one step closer to sharing our first-ever Rosé with you. It's a release we're incredibly excited about, and we'll be carefully crafting this wine to showcase the vibrant flavours and crisp acidity that make Malbec so perfect for Rosé.

With one harvest left for this season – our Riesling grapes are ripening beautifully – we're looking forward to a bountiful year at Caldera Estate.
