Perched 140 meters above sea level, our vineyard commands extraordinary views. But to create world-class wine, beauty alone is not enough. At Caldera, we're committed to sustainable winemaking practices. That's why we rely on natural rainfall and the water-retentive properties of our clay-rich soil to nourish our vines. However, we recognize the importance of responsible water management for our overall estate. Our recently drilled well, reaching 8 meters below sea level, will provide a reliable and sustainable water source for our native plantings. This will help us create a thriving ecosystem while also reducing our reliance on shared community water resources.
