Perched 140 meters above sea level, our vineyard commands extraordinary views. But to create world-class wine, beauty alone is not enough. At Caldera, we're committed to sustainable winemaking practices. That's why we rely on natural rainfall and the water-retentive properties of our clay-rich soil to nourish our vines. However, we recognize the importance of responsible water management for our overall estate. Our recently drilled well, reaching 148 meters below sea level, will provide a reliable and sustainable water source for our native plantings. This will help us create a thriving ecosystem while also reducing our reliance on shared community water resources.
